The laboratories used for processing the samples are accredited by UKAS and registered with the CQC, ensuring they follow stringent quality standards. This guarantees the accuracy of your results, providing you with confidence.
Sample Instructions
It is your responsibility to follow the sample instructions. Failure to do so may result in invalid or failed test results.
- All sample tubes has to be signed and dated.
- The sample should be sent on the same day as your blood draw.
- The sample should not be sent to the lab on weekends or UK bank holidays.
- Each sample tube should be filled to a minimum of three-quarters of its total volume.

Cancellations and Returns of Goods
To cancel your order or return a test kit please reach out to us by contact page.
A fee equivalent to 10% of the total test cost will be retained by to cover admin, processing and transaction fees. This policy is equally applicable to finger prick test kits purchased from our shop.
Finger prick test kits bought from our shop are typically dispatched on the same working day. In light of this, we urge you to contact us at your earliest convenience for any refunds. We will accept returns of unopened/unused test kits. The cost of returning the item to our test centre must be borne by the buyer. For returns, we strongly recommend using the Royal Mail Tracked 24 postage service. Upon receiving the return in the specified condition, we aim to process it within 1 working day.

Refunds
When a refund is deemed eligible and processed, the timeline for the funds to be credited back into your account typically spans between 5 to 7 working days. This duration accounts for the various procedural steps involved in reversing the transaction, which can include verification processes, bank processing times, and the operational frameworks of the payment gateways used. It's important to understand that this timeframe is an estimate and can vary based on the specific policies of the financial institutions involved, as well as on weekends and public holidays, which may extend the processing time.
Lost Damaged and delayed Samples
Should your first blood sample become lost, damaged or delayed, in a gesture of goodwill to our clients, Your Blood is pleased to offer a second test kit free of charge, subject to availability.
While Your Blood provides postage labels for your convenience, please note that we cannot assume responsibility for any samples that are lost, delayed, or damaged. It is imperative that all samples are dispatched to the laboratory on the same day the blood sample is taken, utilising the postage label provided within the kit. We must stress that it is the client's responsibility to pursue any claims for lost postage. You will be equipped with tracking information, which should be used in the claim process.
